@website examiner - The field of SEO is competitive, but there are numerous jobs for article writers because of this. Most clients will check out samples from potential article writers prior to hiring them. Others choose based on price. Either way, I wonder how the web will handle all of the competition of SEO. Google has been doing some " tighting of the belt " when it comes to placement. It seems to be throwing the ranking system off. You never know who will end up on the first page for a certain keyword. Hard work doesn't always seem to pay off when it comes to certain niches that's why I love hubpages. You can write an article about anything without having to stay boxed in by a blog's topic.

      Today I joined a site called Swagbucks. In just a few hours I've already earned 101 points. The first 50 or so points were purely accidental. I was playing around with the navigation of the site before I realized how the points actually rack up. Here are a few ways that I was able to gain points on my first day with swagbucks. 1. Using Their Search Engine : You can download the swagsbucks tool bar to search and keep track of your points.       Today, ( after a long and much needed hiatus from hubpages forums ) I discovered that many of the top performers have left. Google put the smack down on Hubpages and many other 2.0 content farms. Why did everyone jump ship so fast? Is it the fear that their earnings will never return to what they were? Let me give you my point of view...... It' been a little over a year for me on Hubpages, and I'm not really earning enough to care. It's common knowledge that it takes months ( some say years ) to earn a decent amount of money from Hubpages. So why would I stay? It's simple.......for back link juice!
